What we store
Last updated October 1, 2026
Planning Joker is built to need as little about you as possible: no accounts, no ads, no tracking. Here’s everything it keeps and for how long.
What you type at a table
Your display name, the ticket names the dealer enters, and the cards you play (or a fold) are saved with that table so everyone seated sees the same game. Anyone with the table’s invite link can see them, and your card stays hidden until the dealer reveals.
Tables close 24 hours after they’re dealt and are deleted automatically about a day later.
No accounts
When you open the site, your browser gets a random anonymous ID so the table knows which seat is yours. There’s no email, password, or profile behind it.
Site-wide numbers
- Hands dealt: a single running total shown on the home page. It doesn’t record who played.
- Where hands are played: for each revealed round we record an approximate country, region and city, worked out by Cloudflare from the connection. We don’t store IP addresses, and these records aren’t linked to names, tickets or tables. They’re kept as general usage statistics.
On your device
Your browser remembers your name, theme and card style so you don’t have to set them again. They stay on your device until you sit down at a table or clear your browser data. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
Services that run the site
These providers handle technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site, under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase: the game database and anonymous sign-in
- GitHub Pages: hosting the website
- Cloudflare: the domain and the location lookup above
- Google Fonts: the typefaces
We don’t sell or share data with anyone else.
